We want to live in a way that is congruent with our faith. We want to make sure we’re informed about our faith. But we also have to be in the right heart.
Too many believers look at declaring him as some obligation. It’s something. We have to talk about or we’re in trouble. The beauty of this idea is that for you and me, we should be so passionate, so informed, so in tune with what God is doing that we cannot help but to see great things in our life and want to talk about it.
Declaring God, at this point, becomes less about sharing theology and more about personal experience. We share our story not our doctrine. We share our lives and not a “testimony.” Talking about God becomes a very real part of our lives.
