When we walk with joy, even in our hardest moments, we see something beautiful happen. We see God move in such a real and life-changing way. Joy becomes less of a church term for stop complaining and becomes more of a banner we carry proudly. It becomes a beacon of life and hope in our most trying moments. It becomes a sweet reminder in our greatest triumphs. It changes everything we do.
Joy is about life change. It’s about making you a different person with a different way of seeing the world around you. It’s not the petty behavior modification that so many would push, it instead becomes the very thing we use to see more and more of Christ in our life.
May you have joy. Not to avoid the hard times, but so that you can flourish and find the moment from every moment, including the bad ones.
