This Sunday we talked about making a difference in the lives of those around us. We talked about making a true impact on others and how we go about doing that. Through our devotions this week we want to look at a few things you can start doing to make an impact on others.
In Sharing Our Faith
We are called to make a difference in someone’s life, and the biggest influence with the most impact comes when we share our faith. If our example and our words can be the thing Jesus uses to save someone, the influence is eternal.
We’re not suggesting that you run around throwing Bibles at people, but I am asking are you intentional about sharing your faith? Are you praying for anyone? Are you looking for ways to meet people who don’t know Jesus? When you meet them are your conversations more intentional than sports, weather, and how have you been? Again, we’re not asking you to stuff Jesus down people’s throats, but instead share your faith and look for ways to let others know about the grace we’ve been given.
If you want to have a true impact on someone’s life, if you really want to make a difference, be the vessel that Jesus uses in their life. Be loving, be gracious, be truth, be present, and be there when God does great things in their life for eternity.
