Don’t get angry over God’s disciple and direction
In Proverbs 3:5-12, we’re told that we should trust God and not our own understanding. We’re told that God wants more for us than we know and he cares for us more than we can imagine. However, we need to trust him and not grow bitter or angry when he redirects.
It’s easy to get mad when God says no. It’s easy to feel frustrated and want God to give in. It’s easy to be mad at him for not giving you your way. However, the same way a parent directs, guides, and helps their children, God wants to direct guide and care for us. We must learn to trust, listen, and follow his guidance. We call him Lord, not just for namesake, but because he truly is Lord of all.
