Samson goes on a long rampage of ruining his own life. He begins breaking all of the ceremonial promises that he had made. He acts arrogantly, pridefully, and in some cases, sinfully. All of this came from the decision to pursue a woman.
We all make small choices every day. Sometimes they seem small and insignificant and still others we realize were extremely important. The decision to speak to a stranger. The small decision to save some money. The choice to eat healthy or snack all play a larger role in a bigger story. And any one choice has the chance to snowball into something much bigger and more dangerous. Samson wanted a women he thought was attractive. It ended up costing him everything.
Are you intentional in the way you live? Are you intentional in the mission and purpose of your life? Do the choices and decisions you make lead towards that?
