We find joy in sharing our faith.

So many people hesitate and are scared to share the gospel. Rightfully so. In most cases we haven’t loved on someone, we haven’t care about them, and we haven’t poured into them at all so what right do we really have to just dump this on someone?

When we start sharing our faith and inviting out of love, those invitations aren’t random shots in the dark. They aren’t empty words forced out of religious obligation. Instead, they come from a place of genuine love, concern, and care that even if the invitation is refused, still lingers in case they change their mind. Our sharing of our faith becomes less like a duty we all have to our religion and more like a natural reaction to loving people because God loves them. Being able to invite and bring someone into your life becomes something you look forward to, and maybe even get excited about because you now get to see God working in someone else’s life as well.

Do you find joy in sharing your faith? Do you look forward to opportunities to invite people into your life and into your faith?
