He has given us a plan.
The task before us is a massive one. It’s not a task any one person could ever achieve on their own. That’s what makes this part so important. Jesus didn’t just throw out the goal and say now go do it. He gave us a plan. He gave us a way to make it happen. And it all starts at home.
Jesus told them, you will be my disciples in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth. He wanted them to state where they lived. He wanted sharing the gospel to about more than a mission trip, more than a once in a while choir, but a very intentional part of everyday life.
The question then is simple. How do you see your life? Is mission something you make room for? Is mission something you hope to fit in? Or is every aspect of your life working to be seasoned and saturated in mission? Your workplace, a mission field. Your neighborhood, a mission field. Your grocery store, a mission field. Are you doing things intentionally, to be a part of the mission, right where you live?
