Psalm 150:6

Every person gets so much time in this life. We get so many years, so many days, so many hours, so many minutes. We are given a certain number of breaths in this life and when we stop to look at life this way, each breath becomes more important. Take a moment, and imagine it. The number of breaths you get placed on a countdown. Every moment you exhale that number falls. It falls lower and lower. Never stopping. Always getting smaller and smaller. It makes you appreciate the moments when you realize they are numbered. It makes you cherish what you do with every moment.

Yet, this verse says with every breath I should praise the Lord. It says that anything that has been gifted with life, should use that life to praise God.

How do you use your time? What are your breaths for? Are they spent selfishly on satisfying yourself, and building your kingdom? Or is it spent praising God and pouring into His kingdom?

Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord.
