You were gifted to give.
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
We have all been gifted with something. Some people are more affluent, some people can work a room, others have a heart to serve, and still others are gifted speakers. Yet, we’re all called to come together as the church and work together. We’re supposed to take the gifts that God has given us and use those gifts for the sake of others.
What is your gifting? That’s the first thing you have to figure out. God has wired and gifted us each uniquely so we must do the work of finding out, what did God give me the talent to accomplish?
Once you figure this out you must ask, what am I doing with this talent? Some of us take our talents, our mind, our managerial skills and we use them for ourselves. We get ahead. We get the gain, and we get the glory. Yet in Christ, we’ve been told that God wants us to take the things he’s gifted us with and use them for others.
How are you using your gifts to help others?
Take some time today to read Matthew 23:11-12.
